Support our growing team in managing projects from the office to the site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utility or electrical industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience while supporting daily office operations.
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects within DDP Technology. Ensuring they are on time, on budget, and within scope. You will manage resources, lead teams, and communicate with external clients, while also identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Duties include responding to contract negotiation, bids, and proposals, reviewing all contracts to ensure they comply with all company policies, regulations, and laws, and analyzing potential risks of signing certain contracts.
- Project planning – Creating detailed project plans. Establishing timelines and milestones.
- Team leadership – Leading and motivating project teams, providing guidance and support, and ensuring team members are aligned with project goals.
- Communication – Maintaining open and clear communication with team members, clients, and management, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Risk management – Identifying and assessing potential risks, developing mitigation plans, and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget management – Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring the project stays within financial constraints.
- Progress monitoring- Tracking project progress against the plan, identifying any deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Problem solving – Addressing issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, finding solutions, and ensuring the project remains on track
- Documentation – Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other relevant documents, to ensure project success.
- Understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people

- Ability to work in an office environment, as well as environments involving work sites, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- 5+ years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the Electrical Distribution/Utility Industry is required
- 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
