”), a growing oil & gas facilities engineering company providing engineering, procurement and construction management expertise is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill one role as
Project Manager (15 years of experience).Acero is focused on facility and pipeline engineering, procurement and construction management services; from concept evaluation to plant start-up. Our core service offering is in-house project management, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control engineering, project engineering, procurement, regulatory services, civil and structural engineering, and construction management.
Responsibilities
•Client and vendor interaction (ie. Managing projects) for numerous oil and gas projects and related facilities
•Direct and utilize Project Engineers on facility projects
•Organize manpower and resources as needed on the various projects that you will be involved with
•Prepare and maintain cost estimates, schedules, and philosophies (eg, Design Basis, PEP, PMPP, etc.)
•Coordinate through the design/drafting group - PFDs, P&IDs, Plot Plans, Isometrics and GAs
•Evaluate quotes received for all typical oil & gas facility & pipeline equipment as well as pipeline and/or facility contractor bids
•Effective utilization of your strong knowledge of codes, standards and specifications pertaining to oil and gas industry equipment, vessels, pipe, etc.
•Act as Acero’s key technical representative with the client – helping the sponsor maintain an excellent client relationship with open and clear communication
•Understand and work following Acero’s and the clients’ HSE rules and regulations
•Follow Acero’s established operating procedures and protocols (including strict adherence to the Staff Handbook)
•Other tasks/responsibilities, as required
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
•Minimum of 15 years as a “Project Engineer” and/or “Project Manager” in Oil and Gas Facilities in Western Canada
•Strong technical skills and working knowledge of discipline-specific skills, codes and standard practices such as; Directive 55, Directive 56, ASME B31.3, CSA Z662, ASME Section 8, API 650,12 F,610, etc.
•Experience with skid fabrication and design, equipment lists, line lists, mechanical equipment skids, pressure vessels, etc.
•Fabrication shop experience and/or field experience would be an asset
•Pipeline experience would be an asset
•Understanding and working effectively with Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Bluebeam
•Prior experience with the following software would be an asset: HYSYS, CadWorx, etc.
•Excellent team collaboration, interpersonal and leadership skills
•Strong written, verbal, analytical and critical thinking skills
•Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines as occasionally demanded by our clients
