Production Worker - Forge Crew

Overview

Vulcan Steam Forging, located within the City of Buffalo in Riverside, is currently seeking 2-3 candidates for our day shift forging operations. All candidates will work to assist Hammersmiths and Press Operators to ensure production targets are being met while adhering to safety and quality standards/regulations.

Job Description

As a member of our forging team you will be required to stand during all shift operations, use 3-10lb. tongs to repeatedly lift/hold parts up to 75lbs., and be exposed to extreme temperatures for lengthy periods of time.

Requirements

Reliable daily transportation

Maintain good attendance (30 Day, 60 Day, and Yearly Reviews)

Follow safety, quality, and production procedures (training)

Utilize appropriate safety devices and protective equipment

Communicate well and get along with team members

Follow processes, standards, specifications, and norms

Ability to focus during semi-repetitive tasks

Effectively communicate discrepancies to supervision and management

Adaptable to changing production needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
