Production Operator - 3rd Shift

MAXAM has an immediate opening for Production Operators for 3rd shift near Sterling, Connecticut. Long weekends every week!

Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for inspecting products, assembling products, and operating production equipment safely and efficiently.

Duties

- Support daily production operations as assigned.

- Work collaboratively to meet safety and production targets.

- Perform assembly, packaging, and material handling efficiently.

- Load raw materials and ensure product quality meets standards.

- Report and document any material or product inconsistencies.

- Maintain accurate production and downtime records.

- Report directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

- Previous experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing preferred. Not mandatory as we are willing to train the right people.

- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and following standard operating procedures.

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

- Basic math, communication, and record-keeping skills required.

- Reliable team player with adaptability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
