PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Qualifications for any of the equipment below:

2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment

1+ years operating CNC Lasers or Plasma Cutters

1+ years operating Press Brake

1+ years operating Beam line, Angle line, Tube Roller

Abilities:

Read tape measure, calipers, shop travelers, work instructions

Read identification of materials

Operate equipment as required

Operate Forklift

Duties:

· Sets up and safely operates equipment per instructions

· Selects and installs blade or consumables as needed

· Verifies material against shop ticket and measurement

· Understand quality objectives according to job requirements

· Sets controls to adjust speed, feed rate, and blade tensions

· Verifies dimensions of finished part using measuring devices

· Monitors drops for use on other jobs and to ensure inventory control

· Load and Unload materials

Summary

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring efficient, quality-driven output. Reporting to the shift supervisor, you will apply core skills in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement to set up, monitor, and adjust manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities include operating equipment, inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. With premium skills in CNC/PLC control, CAD/CAM, and tooling, you will contribute to meeting production targets while upholding quality standards.
