What You Will Contribute:
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence? Join our team as a
Production Manager – Production Control, where you'll lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of production activities to ensure seamless workflow, on-time delivery, and alignment with customer demand. This pivotal role bridges supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory management—driving continuous improvement and efficiency across the board.
Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and manage master production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure timely execution of production plans.
- Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to meet delivery targets.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Partner with supply chain and warehouse teams to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Implement tracking systems to monitor material usage and reduce waste.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production workflows.
- Lead initiatives to improve throughput, reduce lead times, and enhance resource utilization.
- Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
- Resolve issues related to materials, quality, equipment, and methods.
- Supervise and mentor production control staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Guide shift supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage employee development, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Design and implement training programs to build a flexible and skilled workforce.
- Ensure accurate production data entry and maintenance in ERP/MRP systems.
- Generate and analyze reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence.
- Support the adoption of digital tools and automation in production control.
- Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and labor contract provisions.
- Promote a safe work environment through training, equipment use, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain readiness for emergency response with CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Contribute to departmental budgeting and capital planning.
- Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- 5–7 years in production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong grasp of production scheduling, inventory control, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Data analysis skills using Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Decisive problem-solver with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Experience managing compliance with labor contracts and company policies.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to operations.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.

- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading transformation.
