Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you’ll guide a team of approximately 75 across multiple shifts in the Anodize and Vertical Paint Line (VPL) departments. As our Production Manager, you’ll build team capability, champion continuous improvement, and lead the charge toward achieving world-class coating performance — all while fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
- Direct daily operations for Anodize and VPL departments
- Align strategy, people, and process with budgeted KPIs
- Lead and coach Supervisors and team members through ongoing training and knowledge sharing
- Drive improvements in throughput, rework, and customer satisfaction in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers
- Identify and implement business improvements related to cost, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure clear communication of plans, expectations, and responsibilities to all team members
- Write concise reports on operational activities and performance
- Develop process documentation and work instructions for consistency and compliance
- Support Sales and Business Development with technical insights and capabilities
- Oversee compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations

- At least 5 years in Anodize or Coating operations, including 3+ years leading teams
- Deep understanding of the chemistry and systems behind high-quality anodized and coated finishes
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred
- Experience with racking, rack design, throughput, and the nuances of part geometry
- Familiarity with Anodize/Paint line process spares and MRO
- Ability to interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools
- Self-motivation with a strong work ethic — you take initiative and run with it
- Working knowledge of ISO standards preferred
- AAMA 611 and 2605 experience is a plus
- Strong communicator with solid computer skills
- Experience applying Lean principles is valued
