As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing the daily activities of our production team and multiple production crews, which include designating material staging areas, overseeing/training job supervisors and individuals in roofing system installations, and crew personnel management & scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the production and installation of roofing systems, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

- Manage roofing crews, scheduling, and project timelines to deliver on-time and on-budget.

- Hiring and Terminating production team members. Schedule and complete employee evaluations yearly

- Coordinate with project coordinators, supervisors, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, FL building codes, and OSHA safety protocols.

- Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure workmanship and safety are up to standard.

- Handle inventory management, ordering materials, and equipment as needed.

- Provide ongoing training and development for the roofing team to maintain skills and productivity.

Construction Management:

- Review roofing estimator proposals for accuracy

- Review Construction drawings for constructability, planning and forecasting.

- Monitor jobs daily with supervisors.

- Oversee construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

- Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)

- Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to by production team

- Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs

- Provide direction to planning with the team.

- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction

- Organize job schedules

- Purchasing and Tracking of materials as needed for continuous operation of projects.

- Recruit qualified employees for company and forecast labor needs to operations managers at least two weeks in advance.

- Work with crews and property managers/consultants/condo boards to complete and turn in bonus paperwork

- Enforce company policies and standards

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in roofing production or project management.

- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, steep and low slope systems, and installation methods.

- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on job sites efficiently.

- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in roofing.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in multiple trade construction is a plus.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

- Familiarity with project management software.

Here is Some of What You will Need Job Requirements

- Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in the roofing industry.

- Experience in all different types of roof systems.

- Strong leadership and management skills to direct a team efficiently.

- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and at or below budget.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

- CRM software experience.

- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

- OSHA certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
