Production Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring quality control, and optimizing workflow in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and the use of various tools.

Duties

- Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

- Coordinate and oversee the assembly line processes, ensuring that products are fabricated and assembled according to specifications.

- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and productivity.

- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies; coordinate with warehouse teams for timely replenishment.

- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery commonly found in a manufacturing facility.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex assembly processes.

- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred.

- Ability to effectively lead a team in a factory setting while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of production.

- Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration among team members and other departments.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
