Summary The Production Clerk coordinates the flow of work and materials within or between departments. Their duties include reviewing and distribution of correspondence, production work and special labeling, and auditing manufacturing paperwork to ISO specifications.
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Create job, paint and shipping packets for work order releases, ensuring the correct prints and quantity of sheets are in the job packet with part number tags. And labels
- Maintain work orders in a manner that they are readily available to operators.
- Routinely check work orders in process and remove all completed and/or canceled orders from the floor.
- Audit White Board log sheets for accuracy and completion, forwarding errors to the Chief Foreman to address.
- Ensure drawings with notations from operators are copied and forwarded to engineering in a timely manner.
- Distributes Operations group mail and incoming correspondence.

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Global Shop preferred
- 2 years of production preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Self-managed and ability to execute at a high level with minimal supervision

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
