DMC is currently looking for a Procurement Clerk in Arizona - USA. The Procurement Clerk is accountable for supporting business and purchasing department activities by ordering supplies and raw materials. Providing implementation of the procurement process in line with DMC policies and plans.
- Conducts relevant market intelligence relating to planned packages.
- Provide support in updating the database of potential and current subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support the prequalification of potential suppliers / subcontractors, including ensuring that prequalification documents and confidentiality agreements are in place and up to date.
- Supports packages tender and award process.
- Assists in assessment of vendors in terms of selection and award based on selection criteria.
- Support the development of different types of agreements to engage with Vendors.
- Enter procurement requisitions into the systems.
- Pursue ERP approvals per DMC delegation of authority.
- Prepare procurement tracking and expediting.
- Support deliveries, transport and logistics to the project site.
- Maintain accurate, timely and up to date manual and / or computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, submitted documentation, and communications.
- Recommend and support audit of supplier’s / subcontractor’s documentation and compliance.
- Drive compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, specifically relating to procurement process.
- Collaborate closely with other functional groups within the organization including Legal and Corporate Procurement.
- Demonstrate commitment to continued improvement.
- Other related duties as may be assigned.- 2+ years of related experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies.
