Process Specialist – Cost Collection & Billing

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Field Service Project Billing and Cost Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and transitioning to the SAP S4HANA system, with a focus on project cost and billing. This role involves collaborating with various partners to ensure seamless integration and optimized financial operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Implement and manage project cost collection and billing output processes within SAP S/4HANA.

- Analyze existing business processes related to project cost and billing and identify areas of improvement while ensuring alignment with SAP S4HANA capabilities.

- Develop SAP S4HANA features for cost and billing reports to support invoicing and margin analysis.

- Produce detailed billing packages using SAP S4HANA to be used for invoicing.

- Apply SAP S4HANA capability to maintain attachments and download cost and bill reports as MS Excel or Acrobat Adobe documents.

- Stay updated with SAP S4HANA updates and propose enhancements to existing systems and processes to ensure a smooth transition to a new ERP system.

- Implement Change Management strategies to support the roll out of a new ERP system, while making tactical decisions to ensure success.

What You Bring

- BS Degree in Business Admin/Accounting/Finance or 10 years’ experience in the industry.

- PMP Certification a plus

- Solid background in accounting/payroll/billing at individual resource levels; experience in customer service.

- Experience with: SAP, MySPGI/Project Module, NextGen, and Concur.

- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office products.

- Eager to work in a multifaceted, ambiguous and high pace environment.

- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
