Overview
JW Water Holdings, LLC provides support services to water and wastewater utility companies. We are committed to delivering accurate and timely account management for our utility customers. As a Customer Service/Billing Specialist, you will be a key part of our team, managing high volumes of customer interactions and ensuring exceptional service.
Primary Responsibilities
•Answer and manage inbound customer phone calls.
•Set up and maintain customer accounts.
•Coordinate with Field Staff regarding service orders and account updates.
•Provide support to team members as needed.
•Prepare and process monthly customer billing statements.
•Review delinquent accounts and issue shut-off notices.
•Process customer ACH payments.
•Handle customer refund requests and preparation.
•Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience, Qualifications, Skills
•Experience in utility or billing industries preferred; utility billing experience is a plus.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with UMS is a plus.
•Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to problem-solve and assess critical issues effectively.
•Capable of managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Self-motivated with the ability to work independently once tasks are assigned.
