About the Role

We’re seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our as-needed (PRN) and part-time labor pool for contents packout work. This is a flexible position perfect for people who want to work occasional shifts and help families and businesses recover from disasters like water, fire, or mold damage.

Packouts Technicians are responsible for carefully packing, moving, cleaning, and storing customers’ belongings with professionalism and care. You’ll work on-site in homes and commercial buildings, typically as part of a small field crew.

Key Responsibilities

•

Pack, label, and inventory contents from homes or commercial sites

•

Load and unload boxes, furniture, and belongings into storage vaults or trucks

•

Use proper PPE and follow safety procedures in fire/smoke/mold-affected environments

•

Follow instructions from Field Leads and Supervisors to complete assigned tasks

•

Help with unpacking and return of items during the “pack-back” phase

•

Maintain a clean, respectful presence on job sites

•

Uphold confidentiality and treat all customer belongings with care and discretion

Requirements

•

Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly and work on your feet throughout the day

•

Reliable transportation to job sites across the Valley

•

Willingness to work in occasionally challenging environments (e.g., smoke odor, mold-affected areas)

•

Cellular Phone with Data

•

Good attitude, strong attention to detail, and a team-first mindset

•

Must be at least 18 years old

•

Background check required

Nice to Have (Not Required)

•

Previous experience in restoration, moving, or cleaning

•

Familiarity with inventory apps, tablets, or barcode scanning

Scheduling & Availability

This is a PRN/as-needed position. We will assign work based on your availability. You must work at least 2 shifts per month. Work is assigned based on job demand and your availability. Shifts typically range from 4 to 10 hours depending on the scope of the project. Candidates with weekday daytime availability are preferred, though we occasionally have weekend jobs as well.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
