Join Solar Turbines and help shape the future of energy solutions! We’re looking for a driven and innovative team member to join our New Product Introduction (NPI) team using agile development practices. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll design and deliver advanced control systems for turbomachinery packages, combining controls software development with electrical loop schematic design. You’ll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept and detailed design to manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and transitioning products into standard offerings. - BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or commensurate experience - 8+ years of industry experience
- Strong understanding of turbomachinery subsystems and balance of plant operations
- Proficiency in creating electrical loop schematics using Promis-e
- Experience with control systems, particularly RSLogix 5000
- Ability to interpret and work with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Field or test cell experience in commissioning or troubleshooting
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
