Powder Coat Paint Line Laborer description of role:

NCT Technologies Group is currently seeking a Powder Coat Line Operator to join our team at our newly opened Medina Plant.

The Powder Coat Line Operator is responsible for the coating of parts/products per customer needs. The system utilized is both automated and manual depending on the product volume. The painter sets-up and coats various colors on a state-of-the-art conveyor system. Parts range in size and gauges of steel. The laborer will assist with the loading and unloading of parts from the line and step in to paint when necessary. Some pack out will also be required. All powder coat skills can be taught on the job. A willingness to learn is necessary.

The ideal Powder Coat Line Operator will have an understanding in:

- Setting-up powder coating systems (ideal but not required)

- Keeping the work area well organized.

- Perform general operational cleaning and maintenance of powder equipment each day at start and end of shift as scheduled (this is critical for quality of product)

- Monitoring coat quality for proper cure, adhesion, and coat thickness (ideal but not required)

- Working in a team setting to direct/work with others in packaging and labeling.

- Check finished piece against print for correct color and texture.

- Changing colors during shift efficiently

- Complete other duties as assigned

Powder Coat Line Laborer Skills and Requirements:

- Valid Driver’s License

- Excellent attendance

- Punctual

- Team Player

- Positive Attitude

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking and bending

Work Schedule:

Full time, 1st shift. Possible overtime and Saturdays

Powder Coat Line Laborer Salary:

$19.00 - $24.00 based on experience
