1st Shift Paint Line Operator

Data Metalcraft Inc is hiring a 1st Shift Paint Line Operator to learn and grow with our company. DMI is a manufacturer of formed sheet metal and welded fiber optic cabinets. We are an A rated supplier to our vendors and develop long lasting relationships.

Available Shifts

- 1st Shift- Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Job Description:

- Set up and prepare paint lines for production runs.

- Load and unload products from the paint line.

- Monitor the paint application process to ensure consistent and even coating of products.

- Conduct quality inspections of painted products to identify defects, ensure adherence to specifications, and make necessary adjustments.

- Coordinate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the paint line, including coordinating product changeovers and assisting with line setup.

- Notify supervisors of any production or quality issues that may arise and collaborate to implement corrective actions.

Applicant requirements:

- On-the-job training available

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field is a plus.

- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on finished products.

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Physical ability to lift, load, and manipulate products as required.
