Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal and other material surfaces to achieve the highest quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that products meet precise specifications, exhibit excellent surface finishes, and adhere to strict quality controls. Responsibilities

- Use hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment to smooth and finish metal surfaces according to technical specifications.

- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other fabrication tools to prepare parts for polishing.

- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate finishing processes.

- Perform quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and visual assessments to verify surface quality and dimensional accuracy.

- Collaborate with machinists, fabricators, and assembly teams to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to manufacturing standards.

- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols involving hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

- Document work progress and inspection results accurately for process improvement and traceability.

Requirements

- Proven experience in machining, fabrication, or finishing roles within manufacturing environments.

- Strong mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes.

- Ability to read blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings with precision.

- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other quality control tools.

- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment is a plus.

- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.

- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.

- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to maintain high-quality standards in finishing tasks. Pay: From $18.00 per hour
