Reporting to:
People & Culture Business Partner

Based in:

Houston, TX

The selected professional will serve as

the go-to person for our U.S. team

, working closely with the global People & Culture function and reporting directly to the People & Culture Business Partner based in our Global HQ (Madrid, Spain).

What will you do?

HR Operations & Employee Support

•

Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries and employee relations matters

•

Ensure consistent and compliant application of company policies and U.S. employment law (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)

•

Manage and maintain employee records, contracts, and documentation in accordance with federal and state requirements

Talent & Culture

•

Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for U.S. roles, in coordination with global talent teams

•

Assist with immigration processes and relocation support when needed

•

Help execute engagement, wellness, and culture-building initiatives that align with X‑Elio’s values

Benefits & Payroll

•

Oversee local payroll administration in partnership with payroll providers

•

Manage U.S. employee benefits (health, leave…), including enrollments, renewals, and compliance

•

Partner with global P&C to ensure alignment and competitiveness of compensation and benefits packages with global pay philosophy

Global Collaboration

•

Coordinate U.S.-based P&C processes while staying connected to the international People & Culture team

•

Travel monthly to Washington, D.C. for team and leadership alignment

•

Support broader P&C initiatives, including performance reviews, training rollouts, and policy updates

What do we need?

•

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

•

4–6 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an international or fast-paced environment

•

Strong working knowledge of U.S. labor laws and benefits administration

•

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

•

Proficiency with HRIS (e.g., Workday, UKG, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite

•

Ability to work independently and build trust across cultures and teams
