•Weekly Payroll Processing
•Primary resource for HCM system (Paylocity) learning and training
•Enter new employees into Visual and (Paylocity)
•Process vacation and PTO requests
•Add new employees into, (Paylocity)or make changes, as needed
•Track attendance points, update supervisors on employees’ attendance
•Resolve pay discrepancies
•Recruit and hire hourly associates
•Interview higher level hourly associates and conduct plant tours as needed
•Coordinate with Area Managers to assist with retention
•Assist Training Manager with Orientation of new employees
•Track reviews, notify supervisors of employees’ review dates
•Track training matrices, notify supervisors when out of compliance
•Assist with the creation and distribution of monthly newsletter
•Post announcements on the TV Screens, Social Media
•Process paperwork for uniforms
•File all applications, reviews, & training documents
•Complete Unemployment protest forms
•Complete employment verification requests
•Primary liaison between workforce and upper management
•Assist associates with questions on payroll, benefits, HCM program, etc.
•Experienced in FMLA and workers comp filing and tracking
•Strong employee engagement and retention
Requirements:
•Degree desired in related field, or High school diploma, plus 3 years of experience working in human resources and or finance/payroll
•Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Microsoft Access
•Office Skills: Multi-line phone, fax, mail machine, copier
•People Skills: Ability to work with a variety of people and respond to their needs
•Understanding of personnel issues
•Familiarity with Wayne Metals, LLC Employee Handbook
