Position Title: WAREHOUSE PARTS I

Responsible to: INVENTORY MANAGER
Position Summary
The Warehouse Parts Associate is responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The position supports higher-level staff and ensures the smooth flow of product through the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders
- Unload trucks or containers, sort and move items to appropriate storage locations
- Store materials in designated shelves, racks, or bins using proper labeling and organization
- Pick, pack, wrap, and label orders to prepare for shipment
- Stage and load outgoing orders onto trucks or shipping vehicles
- Perform regular inventory counts (cycle counts) and report any discrepancies
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks, hand trucks) under supervision
- Request materials for reorder points or requests.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Report damaged goods, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisor
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred
- No prior experience required (though warehouse or logistics experience is a plus)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull loads (e.g., up to 50 lbs, depending on the facility)
- Basic math and reading skills (to read labels, packing slips, etc.)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb, and move for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy; ability to learn warehouse management systems or inventory software
- Warehouse environment (temperature may vary; may include cold or climate-controlled zones). Exposure noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Use of safety gear (e.g. gloves, safety shoes, high-visibility vests, etc.). Frequent lifting, bending, stretching, walking, and standing
- May require working shifts, weekends, or overtime during peak periods
