Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Operator will conduct all the daily activities associated with Trenchless pipe rehabilitation installation in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

- Checks and fuels vehicles and performs light mechanical adjustments and assists mechanic in performing repairs on assigned equipment.

- Sets up trench jacks

- Distributes notices to residents and businesses as instructed

- Chips Manholes

- Repairs Manholes

- Fuses Pipe

- Sets up winches and connect hoses

- Assists with install of liner, operates inverter, cut liner

- Restoration and clean up

- Connects services

- Sets up equipment

- Loads equipment

- Utilizes all safety equipment and follow standard operating procedures

- Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

- Incumbent must possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities. Must demonstrate good communications and interaction skills.

- Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.

- Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.

- Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures.

- Must be able to work in extreme work environments, conditions and confined spaces. Position requires fit physical condition.
