Operations Data Analyst

About the role

We are a drilling and blasting contractor seeking an Operations Data Analyst to manage and report on production data across multiple regions. This role focuses on interpreting field reports, maintaining a central operations database, and producing recurring management reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret and review incoming:

- Timesheets

- Drill logs

- Blast reports

- Consumable usage reports

- Clean, standardize, and upload data into the operations database

- Maintain data accuracy, unit consistency, and basic validation checks

- Produce weekly and monthly operational reports by region

- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for management review

- Work closely with operations and management to clarify data inputs

Required Skills

- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas; Power Query preferred)

- Experience building dashboards in Tableau

- Basic SQL querying experience

- Strong attention to detail and data quality

- Ability to interpret technical / operational reports

Preferred Experience

- Construction, mining, or industrial operations exposure

- Experience working with production or cost data

- Familiarity with timesheets and field reporting
