About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Vice President, Lloyd Thermal and Conventional Heavy Oil (LTCHO) Operations, the

Operations Business Analyst

works across LTCHO asset teams to improve operational efficiency, streamline information flow, and support effective execution. This Calgary based position will enable data-driven decision-making, support strategic and operational initiatives, facilitate governance, track project and portfolio progress, and drive process and governance improvements across cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do:

- Partner with LTCHO leadership to improve operational efficiency, information flow, and execution effectiveness.

- Support the delivery of strategic initiatives while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

- Provide data-driven insights by analyzing materials and translating complex operational data for senior leadership.

- Create executive-ready presentations, reports, and supporting materials to communicate progress, risks, and results.

- Facilitate governance and accountability by preparing agendas, capturing decisions, tracking action items, and following up on outcomes.

- Track and report on project and portfolio performance, providing visibility into status, risks, and results.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to identify improvement opportunities and standardize processes.

- Support business planning cycles and performance reviews, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of outputs.

Who you are & What you bring:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Minimum 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, supporting and reporting to senior leadership

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; Oil & Gas and operations experience strongly preferred

- Strong proficiency in data and collaboration tools including Power BI, Visio, and SharePoint

- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and business-critical information with discretion

- Proven track record of navigating complex operational and interpersonal environments
