JOB DESCRIPTION – OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR
SUMMARY OF POSITION
To verify and facilitate all drilling, completion, and workover information from daily reports in various daily and weekly spreadsheets, and accurately report this information to the regulatory bodies and partners.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Support preparation of applications to the regulator for project development
•Manage the gathering, organizing and distribution of well data, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
•Assign, track, communicate and monitor compliance audit and inspection requirements to internal stakeholders
•Ensure submission of required regulatory responses by assigned deadlines via government portals.
•Ensure effective document management of regulatory submissions
•Prepare operational reports.
•Assist operations/production groups with various related tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
•5 years’ experience in an operations administration role with escalating responsibilities
•Fluent with the AER DDS and Onestop systems, GeoScout, Excel
•Good understanding of drilling, completion, and production operations and their associated reporting
•Working knowledge of AER Directives
•Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate and work with various engineering, production, and operations teams
•Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
•The ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
