We are seeking an organized, dynamic and professional individual to take on this key position who will assist with financial and reliability reporting and analysis both regionally and corporately. The candidate will also support purchasing and procurement and assist with contract management as well as provide clerical assistance for the Planning & Engineering department. We are seeking an individual with a keen interest in innovation management to improve operational efficiencies. This position will also assist with change management, coordinating and managing projects and process improvement reviews as required.
The ideal candidate will also have the following:
•Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma from an accredited educational institution in the field of Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
•The candidate must be a highly organized team player who can work independently and, in a team, manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and extremely resourceful.
•The candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and presentation skills to work with our internal and external customers.
•The candidate must be highly proficient in MS Office, and experience with SAP would be considered an asset for this position.
•Travelling to other FortisOntario locations is a requirement for this position. Candidate must possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
•The language of work will be English. The ability to communicate effectively in French will be considered an asset.
