POSITION BACKGROUND:
The Administrator will be responsible for completing all necessary and required paperwork from the branches and/or Head Office. The Administrator also ensures proper flow of office procedures and supports the rest of the staff.
CORE DUTIES:
•Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
•Sort, fill, and file required paperwork
•Prepare and send inter-company mailbags
•Act as a liaison between branch locations
•Maintain calendars and schedule appointments
•Process and track incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
•Printing courier invoices and matching them to the packing slips
Other Duties
•Create and service purchase orders for both the shop and the logistics department
•Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
•Maintain organization within the office and ensure office supplies are stocked
•Work together with employees to help complete all required paperwork
•Successfully complete safety training as required on an ongoing basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Required
•Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience
•High school diploma / GED
•Fluent in the English language (reading, written, spoken)
•Ability to deal with the public in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent demanding deadlines
•Strong work ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team
•Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Preferred
•Post-secondary education in business administration
