What is an Operational Technology Analyst
The OT Analyst is a member of the Operational Technology (OT) team and supports all facets of the Distribution Management System including configuration, reporting, advanced applications, patching and hotfixes. The OT Analyst works closely with the DMS vendor and Distribution System Operations to ensure availability and reliability of the DMS system and supports the company’s Grid Modernization vision. Responsibilities may change as the needs of the department evolve.
The OT team provides technical and application support for Industrial Control Systems and supporting technology used to communicate with and secure these systems. Industrial Control Systems are used to monitor, control and optimize the Gas and Electric Transmission and Distribution systems. Design and support of internal communication networks are also managed by the OT team.
What does an Operational Technology Analyst do?
Responsibilities include configuration, testing, analysis and operational support for all facets of the Distribution Management System, including but not limited to:* SCADA – Supervisory Control and Data AcquisitionWhat does it take to be an Operational Technology Analyst? Required:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, STEM or a related field and relevant work experience in Information/ Operational Technology. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, candidates with an associate’s degree and 3 years of related Information/ Operational Technology experience or a High School Diploma or equivalency degree and 5 years of related Information/ Operational Technology experience will be considered.
Preferred:* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, STEM or a related field

This position has a career path which allows for advancement opportunities within a job series. The title and level are commensurate with experience. Pay range: $71,900- $168,700
