About The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an
Office Managerto join our Centerra Exploration team. This is a remote, work-from-home (travel required), position open to candidates in Nevada or remotely within the United States.
Reporting into the Exploration Manager, the Office Manager will be responsible for providing administrative support to various teams and departments. Projects range from basic clerical operations to customer service and supporting projects. This position is also responsible for assisting in day-to-day office functions while helping to support our larger company operation.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Carries out standard administrative duties including but not limited to filing, copying, organizing, and data entry tasks.
- Composes routine correspondence, conducts analysis, and prepares reports from information researched, collected, or provided by others; disseminates or distributes information as required and appropriate.
- Enters, reviews and/or approves supply requisitions, orders and maintains inventory of office supplies and arranges for the servicing of equipment as needed.
- Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and monitors expenditures and analyzes variances throughout the year, taking action as appropriate to effectively control costs.
- Plans, organizes, and executes employee-related activities and initiatives, including but not limited to facilitating employee onboarding and orientation activities, serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries or requests for assistance, and facilitating basic payroll administration tasks.
- Identifies, develops and carries out various office protocols and procedures for maintaining a clean, safe, organized and efficient office.
- Maintains an organized filing system, ensuring documents, records, and correspondence are securely stored, labeled and accurate.
- Answers and screens telephone calls, coordinates travel arrangements or appointments, facilitates greeting and signing-in visitors, and provides other administrative support to leaders and teams as needed and required.
- Receives and routes inbound mail, affixes mail or correspondence to the appropriate file, and prepares outgoing mail and correspondence as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
About You
The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:
- High school diploma or GED with the ability to read, write and communicate instructions and information.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar administrative capacity.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to learn and use new software and technologies.
- Demonstrated success in organizational and time management activities, setting goals and prioritizing work assignments.
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work output, accompanied by demonstrated ability to take initiative to troubleshoot problems and seek solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated professional demeanor and people/client oriented, accompanied by reliability, flexibility and versatility.
