Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role is essential in providing support to our team and maintaining efficient office procedures.
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain filing systems and ensure all documents are organised and easily accessible
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Sage, including invoicing and expense tracking, payment collection
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Provide clerical support, including typing correspondence and reports
- Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and workflows
- Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain HR records and assist in organizing staff training or meetings when required.
- Address and resolve client queries promptly and professionally.
- Assist management in ad-hoc tasks and project-based work as needed.
- Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
- Experience with Sage is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated clerical experience in a professional setting
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills as required
