Duties

- Responsible for cleaning equipment at night, maintaining store cleanliness, and restocking refrigerators.

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles promptly and accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems.

- Manage cash register transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts with precision.

- Provide product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store shelves, coolers, and checkout area through merchandising and stocking activities.

- Answer customer inquiries via phone etiquette, offering helpful information about products or store services.

- Conduct basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, or inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

- Monitor store inventory levels, assist with product demos, and support merchandising efforts to maximize sales opportunities.

Skills

- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions.

- Prior supervising experience is a plus for managing shift operations or training new team members.

- Ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings to serve a diverse customer base.

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.

- Experience in retail sales, grocery store operations, or similar environments to understand product placement and merchandising strategies.

- Basic math skills for cash register operations, inventory counts, and sales calculations.

- Knowledge of grocery store or retail environments enhances your ability to assist customers efficiently.
