Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role involves various tasks including cashiering, stocking, and merchandising, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.

- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.

- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability.

- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer experience.

- Upsell products and services to increase sales revenue.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including the convenience store area.

- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with effective communication skills.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred.

- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette.

- Experience in merchandising and product displays is a plus.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
