Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries to foster a positive experience

- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely

- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including balancing registers at shift end

- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to enhance sales opportunities

- Conduct product demos and merchandising to promote store items effectively

- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and ensure the cleanliness of the retail area for an inviting shopping environment

- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations, ensuring clear communication

- Assist with grocery store-like duties such as stocking and inventory management to support daily operations

Skills

- Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operation for efficient checkout processes

- Prior supervising experience is a plus for team coordination and leadership responsibilities

- Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales tracking and inventory management

- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively

- Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances performance

- Familiarity with upselling techniques and retail sales strategies to maximize revenue
