The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in championing quality across all aspects of operations at Paramount Extrusions. The position demands a forward-thinking, hands-on leader who actively ensures that quality standards are embedded throughout the organization. This includes driving the practical application of effective quality methods, rooted in continuous improvement principles, and aligned with the teachings of W. Edwards Deming on moving beyond crisis management. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead the execution of the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO certification processes, and broader quality assurance initiatives. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving quality-related challenges and ensuring the implementation of effective, sustainable solutions across all departments.
Quality Leadership: Champion the culture of quality across the organization, driving the
practical application of quality methods and Deming’s principles to ensure sustainable
ISO Certification Leadership: Lead and oversee the implementation and successful
completion of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 certification projects. Work closely with external QMS
consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with certification requirements.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and assess internal business processes,
identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Use data-driven decision-making, focusing on reducing variation and optimizing processes in line with Deming’s
Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee the implementation of in-process inspections and
quality control procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and customer
and create detailed corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports to prevent recurrence.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to establish, refine,
and enforce process standards and procedures. Ensure that customer-specific
requirements are understood and met across all relevant teams.
Training & Development: Provide training, direction, and mentorship to quality inspectors
and other team members, ensuring they understand and can apply quality standards
Data Analysis & Reporting: Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality-related
data, using tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) to drive continuous
improvement. Ensure that quality findings are documented in electronic records and
standardized reports are generated to support departmental activities.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead eorts to manage customer complaints, ensuring that thorough
root cause analysis is conducted, and corrective and preventive actions are correctly
Education: Associate’s degree required. Relevant certifications in quality management
Experience: Proven experience with ISO 9001 & 9100 certification processes, quality
management systems, and practical quality improvement methodologies.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control tools, including Statistical Process
Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA). Experience
with QMS software (EPICS, QMSCAPA) is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in extrusion processes, specifically with aluminum, is
Mathematical Proficiency: Strong understanding of basic math concepts and the ability to
read and interpret engineering drawings, including understanding part tolerances and the
Inspection Skills: Ability to perform in-process inspections, using tools such as
Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.

skills. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
Interpersonal Skills: Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
employees at all levels. Represent Paramount Extrusions in a professional and positive
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
