We’re looking for a detail-driven and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our fast-paced team. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence across procurement, data analysis, material planning, and field inventory management. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with advanced Excel expertise and hands-on experience using ERP/MRP systems. In this role, you’ll manage purchasing activities, track and optimize field inventory, maintain accurate data across systems, and provide outstanding support to both internal stakeholders and external partners. - Manage day-to-day purchasing operations, including creating, issuing, and tracking purchase orders (POs) to ensure on-time material delivery.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance for delivery accuracy and quality; proactively resolve shortages, discrepancies, or delays.
- Partner with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, negotiate terms, and expedite urgent orders.
- Analyze demand forecasts, sales trends, and usage data to develop and maintain accurate material requirements plans (MRP) within the ERP system.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain risks such as shortages, excess inventory, or delivery of bottlenecks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on issues like stock-outs or backorders and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain KPI dashboards for metrics such as inventory turns, on-time delivery, and purchase price variance.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of ERP master data, including item masters, vendor details, pricing, and lead times.
- Perform routine data audits to uphold integrity and consistency across systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ERP purchasing and inventory modules, supporting cross-functional data needs.
- Collaborate with field teams, project managers, and trade partners to track and manage material flow from warehouse to field.
- Support inventory control functions, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances in partnership with Operations, Finance, and vendor teams.
- Act as a central point of contact for Operations, Finance, Engineering, and trade partners regarding material availability, lead times, and supply constraints.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, fostering strong and lasting partnerships.- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience including 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or material planning roles with a proven track record of operational impact.
- Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Practical experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Rootstock.
- Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals, forecasting methodologies, and material requirements planning (MRP) processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and physical inventory audits.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build productive relationships across internal and external teams.
- Self-driven and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
- Experience in the construction, new homes, or solar industry.
- Experience with SQL or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
