At LCRA, the Fayette Power Project (FPP) is seeking a skilled technician for maintenance oversight at the power plant! This is an outstanding opportunity to be responsible for the hands-on maintenance and oversight of a team of skilled technicians while ensuring safety and procedural policies are followed. Knowledge and experience with Coal handling equipment will be helpful for your efforts in the operation and maintaining facility equipment. You will be trusted to:

- Ability to use coal pulverizing equipment.

- Ability to weld, maintain fabrication, and use power tools.

- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment.

- Ability to follow safety and maintenance procedures.

You qualify with:

- Six or more years of experience in power plant operations or power plant maintenance, or other relevant experience, including two or more years in the craft discipline in the assigned area of specialty.

- Driver’s license

You are a great fit with:

- Experience in maintenance planning principles, including work package development and PM development.

- Experience in non-destructive examination (NDE), oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, transformer testing, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and other applicable PdM tools.

- Experience using Maximo.

- Experience with staging of parts and tools.

- Proven leader in cultivating collaborative, high-performance, and improvement-focused environments.
