General Description:

The MPU Wells Group Summer Support Intern Position will be assisting the Wells group and others in the Milne Point field with cleaning up debris from pad sites and roadways left behind from winter activities.

They will also support the VMS with cleaning, inventory, and stocking of incoming summer products & supplies.

They will support the Wells group in painting and maintenance of equipment as well as support the de-watering crew pumping out the reserve pits.

This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

- Ensure a safe work environment.

- Operate flatbed truck in a safe manner in compliance with field rules.

- Sort & bag debris as directed.

- Clean, sort, stock and inventory products in shops as directed.

- Clean and paint valves and rigging as directed.

- Support management and staff with additional support as requested.

- Assist in loading and unloading of material and equipment for mobilization.

- Other duties as assigned.

- Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.

Requirements:


Required Qualifications:


- High school diploma or GED

- Completed NSTC unescorted course and has valid NSTC card. (Slope Positions Required)

- Valid driver's license is required.


Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

- MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet. Shoveling up to 20 lbs. Frequent walking and standing. Occasional keyboard use, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching.

- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.

- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.

- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 70 pounds for 20 feet.

- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
