BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
- Willingness to be cross trained across Plant Unit functions.
- Operational Gold Process Plant Experience (Min. OP 3 Level)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Multistage crushing experience.
- CIL operational experience
- Cyanide destruct operational experience
- Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
- Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team.
- Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift.
- Ability to work night shift and in extreme weather conditions.
- Forklift and crane operation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
