Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic/ Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mitchell Quarry. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment, vehicles, and machinery. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulic & electrical systems, and commitment to safety & efficiency. You will be working with our Equipment Maintenance Supervisor so if you have skills already and you'd like to learn under someone, this is a great opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance

- Inspect equipment

- Conduct repairs

- Respond to equipment breakdowns

- Collaborate with operators & supervisors to prioritize repairs & minimize downtime

- KEEP A CLEAN WORKSPACE

Qualifications

- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.

- Strong understanding of mechanical principles as they relate to equipment

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
