Receives, stages, and moves material within the assigned warehouse or construction project area. Positions parts at the designated holding area. Possess the ability to use a tablet to look up purchase orders in our IFS system. Move parts and materials from receiving area and move to the designated warehouse or construction work area. Has the ability to identify ethanol manufacturing parts and materials. Keep work areas clean. Possesses the ability to identify and arrange work areas for construction projects.
- Must have a clear understanding of shipping/receiving processes including inspecting loads before removing them from the delivery truck.
- Must possess knowledge of utilizing a tablet to look up purchase orders, parts and notes.
- Must be willing to learn how to navigate through our IFS system.
- Transport received equipment, parts, piping and structure material and stores or stages items and materials for the spare parts warehouse or construction project operations.
- Communicate with the Materials Manager and Construction Manager when items and materials arrive and where they are being stored.
- Transports parts from a designated delivery area to the construction or warehouse holding area.
- Ensures that loads are properly handled and are stable before movement.
- Thorough understanding of construction operations to effectively stage materials and parts promptly.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner using required safety equipment. Keeps assigned forklift properly maintained. Reports on unsafe conditions of the forklift to the Materials Manager.
- Completes documentation of where parts and materials are stored and signs and dates receiving paperwork.
- Ensures that equipment, parts and materials are properly identified and always tagged.
- Responsible for area inventory accuracy and identification.
- Responsible for proper inventory transfer and location as required.
- Responsible for set-ups in the area.
- Responsible for area housekeeping, to include trash removal.
- Responsible for outside maintenance of the area as applies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
