The Market Engagement Supervisor leads cross-functional teams to influence direct and indirect market actors to intelligently manage energy use. This role manages resource allocation, project planning, and execution oversight while fostering professional growth and strong stakeholder relationships. The supervisor ensures high performance by setting clear OKRs and KPIs, guiding staff through structured goal development. They provide mentorship on project scope, data interpretation, and business impact, ensuring that team outputs translate into actionable client value. This position requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and fluency in the Microsoft suite, ERP tools and other project management systems.
Key Responsibilities
•Deliver energy efficiency programs by managing scope, budget, and milestones across multi-disciplinary teams.
•Oversee staff performance and ensure strong budget management and high staff utilization.
•Provide resourcing solutions, guide scope development, and maintain high client satisfaction through relationship-building and responsiveness.
•Mentor direct reports, set clear OKRs/KPIs, and ensure continuous improvement through regular feedback and coaching. Lead hiring and onboarding efforts to maintain high-performing, well-resourced teams.

Preferred Skills
•Familiarity with Energy Efficiency Program Design and Implementation
•Experience delivering or managing utility-funded or state-administered energy efficiency programs, including incentive structures and M&V processes.
•Experience with Hiring and Onboarding Technical Staff Ability to draft job descriptions, evaluate technical qualifications (e.g., data analysis, field engineering, customer engagement), and onboard new hires into program workflows.
•Proposal Development and Scope Writing Skilled in drafting mid-complexity scopes of work, budgets, and deliverables across technical and outreach components, ideally in support of decarbonization, electrification, or DER integration.
•Knowledge of Industry Tools and Platforms Familiarity with project management tools, Salesforce or other CRM platforms for tracking customer engagement, and SharePoint or similar tools for document management.
•Advanced Communication and Visualization Skills Ability to translate technical results (e.g., savings calculations, EM&V data) into clear, compelling presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
•Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis Proficiency in using structured problem-solving approaches (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, or A3 thinking) to identify breakdowns in delivery and implement corrective actions.
•Conflict Resolution and Team Dynamics Management Experience navigating inter-team or client/vendor conflicts, facilitating resolution through structured dialogue and shared documentation of decisions.
•Innovation in Program Delivery Models Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve service delivery or program participation through creative pilots, automation, or improved workflows.
