EPCOR's Corporate Services division is pleased to announce a permanent, full-time vacancy for the position of Public Engagement Advisor. This role will be part of the Communications & Public Engagement team, operating out of the Rossdale Water Treatment Plant in Edmonton, Alberta.
As a Public Engagement Advisor, you will play a key role in managing and executing public and community engagement strategies that support EPCOR's capital projects. This dynamic position involves creating and implementing effective engagement plans, fostering relationships with key audiences, addressing emerging concerns, and developing clear, accessible communication materials from complex technical sources. You will oversee engagement tools such as public inquiry phone lines, email communication and stakeholder databases, ensuring smooth and effective operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying community issues, proactively addressing them and building strong connections with internal clients to deliver strategic, audience-focused solutions. With outcomes that span from short-term objectives to multi-year goals, this role requires adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to cultivating positive community relations.

You are accountable to Consultation Manager and will have the following key accountabilities (but are not limited to these) as prescribed by the Public & Community Engagement Senior Manager:

Note that candidates that do not meet the 4 years of experience may be considered for a Developmental Level appointment with at least 2 years related experience
