Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and promoting products through engaging demonstrations.
Duties
•
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
•
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
•
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
•
Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
•
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
•
Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure an appealing shopping environment.
•
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
•
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards.
Skills
•
Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
•
Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
•
Strong basic math skills for processing sales and managing inventory.
•
Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
•
Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively showcase merchandise.
•
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
•
Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management is a plus.
•
Experience in supervising or training new staff is advantageous.
•
