Part-Time Boat Rigging Technician – Engines, Electronics

We’re looking for a skilled Boat Rigging Technician to join our team on new vessel builds. If you know your way around Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki engines, and can install Raymarine, Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, and Furuno electronics, plus handle lithium batteries and inverters, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

- Rig and outfit new boats from the ground up

- Install and set up outboard engines (Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki)

- Install and configure marine electronics (Raymarine, Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Furuno)

- Install and integrate lithium battery systems, inverters, and electrical components

- Run wiring, connect controls, install steering, gauges, pumps, and accessories

- Test and troubleshoot all systems before delivery

- Follow safety protocols and manufacturer installation standards

What You Bring:

- Experience as a Marine Technician, Boat Rigger, or similar role

- Knowledge of outboard engines, marine electronics, and electrical systems

- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical manuals

- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Part-time role

- Work primarily on new vessel builds

- Shop and dockside environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
