Operations Technician

Spartan is seeking an individual to fulfill the responsibilities of an Operations Technician to join the Drilling & Completions team. The Operations Technician is responsible for AFE administration, regulatory compliance, data management and providing day-to-day operational support.

What You Will Do

- Administer AFE Execute system by entering, reviewing, and mailing out to partners as required, while maintaining consistent flow through approvals.

- Set up new wells for drilling, completions, workovers, facilities, pipelines, and abandonments.

- Prepare and submit regulatory filings including DDS, TOURs, well logs, licensing, amendments, and surveys.

- Generate individual well frac notifications, liaise with external partners, maintain compliance documentation and provide timely updates to the Drilling & Completions team.

- Data Information Management by digitalizing well files, surface land files and joint venture files, and filing data as received from the field operations.

- Provide field and operational support as needed.

Who You Are

- 5+ years of industry experience

- Strong working knowledge of AFE Execute, Petrosight, Petrinex, ProStream, OneStop, XI Technologies, Pason, GeoScout, and OpenInvoice

- Experience with regulatory reporting and AER submissions

- Advanced organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with field personnel

- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and dynamic work environment
