About The Role
DESRI is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join its team as a manager of people operations.
What You'll Do
You’ll lead people operations efforts including managing payroll from a Human Capital standpoint, managing our benefits plans, owning the relationship with our HRIS provider, Rippling, and optimizing systems and workflows. You’ll be tasked with running payroll, ensuring state and federal labor law compliance, managing leave, and handling immigration matters. In addition, you’ll benchmark plans and offer cost-effective options to provide best-in-class benefits and support to employees. You’ll manage vendor relationships with brokers and other third parties to resolve tech issues and ensure excellent support. You’ll provide guidance on operational issues and processes, partner with cross-functional teams, audit human capital operations, and generate proactive reports to provide insights to leadership on business and people decisions.
Qualifications
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in human resources, finance, or another field is required, along with an impressive record of academic and professional achievement.
- At least five years of experience in human capital operations is required.
- Deep knowledge of benefits, HR compliance, reporting, and Excel is required, as is prior experience in owning vendor relationships.
- Intellectually curious individuals with keen attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, analytical acumen, and effective project execution abilities will excel in this role.
- The expected annual base salary for this position is $125,000 to $140,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, paid time off, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
