As Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of FuelUp’s daily operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery across our fueling and maintenance network. You will work closely with our enterprise customers to ensure exceptional execution and a seamless experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Enterprise Customer Success
- Serve as the operational point of contact for our largest customers
- Coordinate schedules, service expectations, and performance reporting
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and maintain strong, trusted relationships
- Optimize daily fueling and maintenance service routes for efficiency and cost
- Manage inventory and coordinate timely resupply with vendors
- Implement SOPs and enforce safety, fueling, and maintenance standards
- Ensure timely response and completion of all fleet servicing events
- Launch and support operations in new cities and regions
- Build scalable operational playbooks
- Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to DOT, EPA, fire marshal, and local regulations
- Maintain up-to-date records for permitting, certifications, and fleet insurance- 2-4+ years of experience in operations, logistics, field services, or fleet management
- Experience supporting enterprise-level accounts or large-scale service operations
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams and build repeatable processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both internal and external
- Comfort with tools like routing software, spreadsheets, and mobile operations platforms
- Startup experience or high-growth operational background is a big plus
- Knowledge of mobile fueling or fleet maintenance logistics
- Experience launching or scaling new markets or operational territories
- Familiarity with AI-driven operations or predictive maintenance workflows
- Fast-growing startup solving real-world problems for fleet-based businesses
- Work directly with enterprise customers and make an immediate impact
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and founding team
