Job Summary
We are seeking an adaptable and resourceful HR & People Operations Manager to own and enhance our human resources, employee programs, and corporate operations at CleanJoule. This role will work closely with leadership to foster a high-performance, values-driven culture while ensuring that our HR and administrative processes scale smoothly as the company grows.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable handling HR compliance and benefits administration, designing employee engagement initiatives, managing corporate operations, and supporting strategic projects that keep our company running efficiently.
Job Responsibilities HR & People Ops
- Collaborate closely with the Director of HR to ensure smooth execution of HR programs, compliance processes, and employee experience initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
- Manage benefits administration and support employees with benefits-related questions.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in full cycle recruiting process, working with and improving tracking and organization of candidates in Greenhouse.
- Scheduling and assisting with organization of on-site interviews as needed.
- Administer performance management processes, goal setting, and employee feedback programs.
- Partner with leadership on compensation review cycles and salary benchmarking.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Manage day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the Salt Lake City office.
- Maintain business licenses, registrations, and corporate compliance records.
- Assist leadership with special projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive HR or people operations experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations best practices.
- Experience with a full cycle recruiting process.
- Experience managing operational processes and corporate administrative functions.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative, can-do mindset.
- Experience working with Greenhouse applicant tracking software preferred.
