Fleet Corporate Design Engineering (CDE) is the Design Authority for each of Duke Energy’s six nuclear sites. CDE is responsible for execution of a fleet portfolio that includes design solutions supporting risk reduction, equipment obsolescence, and plant modernization.

The Harris/Robinson Nuclear Station Corporate Design Engineering Manager for Instrumentation and Control is responsible for management of the assigned capital engineering change (EC) portfolio at the Harris/Robinson Nuclear Stations, and coordinates with other CDE managers/staff to ensure that high quality design solutions are delivered to meet station needs and milestone requirements. This position is based at either the Harris Nuclear Station in New Hill, NC or the Robinson Nuclear Station in Hartsville, SC.

This position requires collaboration with stakeholders including senior management members at the assigned sites and across the nuclear fleet. The incumbent will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse team of nuclear professionals by providing oversight for complex technical tasks including design development, analysis, testing, and field implementation.
