Cast Metals Technology is an Aluminum Casting & Machining manufacturer located in Ohio and Indiana.

Cast Metals Technology has an opening for a Day Shift Maintenance position that would be responsible to provide support on all areas of mechanical maintenance. This person would also maintain all plant equipment and systems at our Union City, Ohio location with the assistance of another maintenance technician.

Responsibilities include the following:

- Supervise and direct the daily work of maintenance helper.

- Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

- Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation and for defects such as loose connections and frayed wires.

- Install repaired equipment in various settings.

- Converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems and to determine what the root cause of the issue is.

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as greasing, cleaning, and repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems.

- Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure that it functions properly.

- Repair and adjust equipment, machines, and defective components, replacing worn parts.

- Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.

Must be mechanically inclined and have an interest in maintenance work.

Must be able to efficiently troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.

Electrical and Welding Experience preferred

Must understand and practice preventative maintenance.

High School diploma and/or equivalent required.

6+ years Maintenance experience preferred.

* This is a first shift position and some overtime is available.

Pay is based on Experience and Negotiable - Lets Talk!

Will work with Conveyors, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, General Maintenance.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
